THE BALL IS IN YOUR COURT - TOOLS: PART 2

Tools to defeat devils & demons - Part 2

• Cover people with Jesus, His blood, in His Name.

• Cast off Satan from you and others through binding and loosing.

• Renounce death and every death wish and close the windows and doors of death to yourself and your family, loved ones and those you minister to.

• Renounce and release all ungodly things, connections, and desires as detailed in this section of this book.

• Choose life for all that is life and Life.

• Choose death to sin and all that is sin.

• Allow your ungodly self to die through Jesus’ death.

• Respond to what God says.

• Ask, receive and use your spiritual gifts.

• Claim the things that God has given you.

• Worship God.

• Thank God for your present life.

• Thank God for all else.

• Praise God in all things.

• Trust God and tell Him you trust Him even when you don’t – STATE YOUR TRUST NO MATTER WHAT IS HAPPENING.

• Speak of the things of God.

• Invite and speak Jesus into everything.

• Put on the spiritual weapons listed in Ephesians chapter six.

• Big weapon: Laugh!! In fighting death and homicide spirits, laughter pushes them aside. Laughter will take control of you instead of death spirits.

• Fast (don’t eat): the atomic bomb of spiritual weapons. The best fast consists of water only but do what you can… and do it often.

THE BALL IS IN YOUR COURT – TOOLS: PART 1

Tools to defeat devils & demons - Part 1

• Seek to be close to God.

• Pray - ask God to protect you and yours.

• Keep praying the things that God puts on your heart and into your spirit to pray for until they are no longer there and you have peace that the work of prayer has been completed in the spirit (Note, prayer is not just asking God; things are rearranged in the spirit world by prayer.)

• Read the Bible to push Satan from your mind.

• Refuse in faith to receive or suffer something that the Bible says we don’t have to receive or suffer. Refuse sadness, mourning, insanity, sin and death.

• Exert correct authority to refuse entrance of evil in your life and into your family’s lives.

• Sever ungodly spiritual and physical ties with people, things and spirits.

• Close open windows and doors through which evil can access you and those you’re praying for, especially your family and those you minister to or who are under your covering.

• Cast off the spiritual hooks that have been thrown onto and into you and those you pray for.

• Cast to the ground ungodly and un-useful words that have left your mouth.

HOW GOD SPEAKS TO YOU

God speaks to your mind via word thoughts and words. He communicates directly to your heart by depositing things there. He also communicates with your emotions.

But understand this: Satan also communicates in the form of thoughts. Satan imposes his thoughts on unsuspecting minds, suggesting things he wants you to do or at least consider doing. He is constantly trying to mold you into who he wants you to be, and to transform your life according to his plan. He also deposits things into your heart and emotions. Basic thoughts Satan will impose are often in the form of “I.” “I want…” “I need…” “I would like…” I think…” He puts these suggestions inside your mind so you’ll assume it’s your own thought, but he isn’t limited to just this tactic; far from it. He often directly tells people what to do.

From the moment you meet Jesus, you become engaged in a spiritual battle to discern whether the communications you receive are from God and His compatriots or from the devil and his minions. Although God is working directly in your heart and spirit (as does Satan) to mold them from outside the mental process, your mind is still a key player, so it’s useful to learn to discern and distinguish the voice of God from the voice of the devils (all spirits not submitted to God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit).

I don’t know of any better way to learn how to hear the voice of God other than to listen and discern the author of whatever enters your heart and mind. But listening to what the spirits say should NEVER supplant reading the Bible. The Bible is God’s written word. It is error-free and explains who he is and how to know Him. My experience is that when God wants to communicate with me directly, He most often “points out” portions of the Bible as I’m reading it, or gives new or specific meaning to verses or portions of passages as my eyes and spirit encounter them. Much of this book was written through this process.

FEAR = NEGATIVE FAITH & NEGATIVE RESULTS

A common, major heart bondage is fear.

Fear is placing your faith in what the world or the devil says, not in what the Bible and the Holy Spirit proclaim.

Fear is negative faith which, when combined with your words and actions, brings negative results

The law of faith functions in both the negative and the positive.

Your heart must be freed from fear.

Knowing and receiving the love of God and trusting Him in all things frees you from the bondage of fear.

HE IS NOT FICKLE

Hebrews 8:1 – The principal point, says the author, is that we have a high priest at the right side of the throne of majesty in the heavens.

In Hebrews 8:8 the writer quotes a long dead prophet through whom God spoke, saying that God would do a new thing aside from the Law of Moses.  It was the new deal of grace and peace.

My point is that God is not just some force floating around the universe, He is not fickle just taking advantage of the moment – rather he IS. He has a plan and executes it.  As he made a diverse planet for mankind, he has a continuing plan for mankind and through Jesus we escape evil to go into that plan both here on earth and in the heavens.

JESUS VS SATAN

Phil. 2:6
Being in the form of God he stripped himself of himself and became in the form of a man not thinking it something to attain to being God.

Wow. Satan did exactly the opposite – he wanted to make himself God. From wonderful and beautiful, he became evil personified and ugly.  Jesus thought about saving, healing and life for us, while Satan and all his spirits only thought about selfishness and power and lies.  After Jesus died, God the Father exalted him highly above all things, and his name is above all names.  He proved himself to be the son of his father – and of the same character.  Satan proved himself to be only pride and all evil.  One died for us, the other exalted himself to destroy us and kill us by separating us from God .

CONTINUAL CLOSE CONTACT

Trusting Jesus.  I needed a very personal contact with God.  I certainly did not think it would be cool to be a Christian, but I had a big encounter with Jesus thirty something years ago in Kona, Hawaii.  A year later at a CDTS at YWAM, Jesus continued to reveal himself to me in a very personal way, then years later I saw him standing and holding his kingdom in Mazatlán, Mexico.  My life has been built upon a continual close contact with Jesus because of the time I spend with him each morning.

My understanding of life has been expanded with experience and knowledge.  One person on a planet of 7 billion, hurtling through space at a fantastic speed, open to the cosmos and co-existing with various other dimensions – me, a spirit temporarily in a human body with eternity before me, yet with physical, emotional and psychological requirements/needs. Including a need to be connected to other people as well as to my own life and experience. Living this life in experience and knowledge magnifies how much I need to know Jesus and understand not only why he came to earth, but his experience here. I draw strength from what he did and solace that as he came for me here, he has gone to prepare a place for me in the heavens. And I will follow him there as I have here.

Now it is my turn to experience a bit of what he did:  he left heaven and came here, as he grew he understood where he came from and who he was.  It must have been completely mind warping to grow up and understand the mission and continue to live as a man, have friends, be here and part of the creation, and then rescue it.  He sweated blood over it. The stress, knowledge, task, and juxtaposition from being a man with friends to returning to be with the Father was overwhelming – but he came for us, opened the way/road to heaven through himself, and is here helping us and there waiting for us.  We can do it because he did it and is here with us strengthening and helping us.   We can do it because he went first. Nonetheless, our true situation on this planet and in the multiple dimensions is mind warping and a bit of what Jesus had to deal with coming to us from heaven, living here and returning to heaven.
